Writer Bio: Morgan St. James, a former interior designer and marketing specialist, splits time between Marina Del Rey, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Morgan co-authors the humorous Silver Sisters Mystery series with her sister Phyllice Bradner. The first book in the series, “A Corpse in the Soup”, named Best Audio Book Mystery – 2007 by USA Book News, is published in paperback and all audio and electronic formats. The second book, “Seven Deadly Samovars,” was released in 2009 in all formats. Her short stories appear in Chicken Soup for the Shopper’s Soul and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Celebrating People Who Make a Difference, The World Outside the Window, Writers’ Bloc II anthologies and Amazon Shorts, with more slated for publication in 2010. The year 2010 will also see publication of her two book romantic/suspense set, A DREAM LOST and THE DEVIL’S DUE, under the pen name Arliss Adams. Prior to writing fiction, biographies and short stories, Morgan wrote many published magazine articles on such varying subjects as interior design, dementia and barter. She is a member of Sisters in Crime/LA and Henderson Writers Group and a founding member of the new Southern Nevada Sisters in Crime chapter. A seasoned speaker, she frequently speaks to groups and participates in authors’ panel presentations.
